Services
We assist DIY homeowners and contractors with the framing and carpentry aspects of their basement finish project. As experienced basement framers, we understand that 'floating' walls are required in Colorado due to the expansive Bentonite clay present in the soil. However, if your basement has a suspended concrete or structural wood floor, the walls may not need to be floating.
In addition to framing walls, we build all soffits and dropped ceilings necessary around HVAC ductwork, plumbing, steel beams, and columns. We can also create custom features like entertainment centers, wine closets, hidden rooms, and bar areas.
Our finished product is mechanicals and drywaller ready and Guaranteed to pass Framing Inspection.
Quality
Walls are framed using a 16" on center layout with full 2x channels for corners and wall junctions. Soffits and dropped ceilings are built in the strongest way possible using plywood facing and solid 2x4 under-framing. We use pressure-treated bottom plates glued and secured to the concrete floor using 'Tapcon' style concrete anchors. All fire-stop and vertical draft-stop is installed per code and custom blocking and backing is installed as needed/requested for towel-bars, tub enclosures, medicine cabinets, and more.
